Custom IoT device, kiosk and PCB development
Custom IoT devices and kiosks, from circuit board to software.
Kiosk software development, ESP32 firmware, and the circuit board and enclosure underneath. We design and build the device and the software it runs, with a dashboard for the data if you need one. On a warehouse floor we start with the scanners, phones and tablets you already own, and build hardware only where none of them does the job.
What we build
- Kiosk systems. The enclosure, screen, internal electronics and the app people use, designed together so the software fits the hardware.
- Stations on the floor. A dock-door or returns station that takes a photo or a scan at the moment the work is done and ties it to the order, or an ESP32 device that reports a door opening or a call for a supervisor into your systems. That is capture at the dock door and photo proof at the returns bench.
- PCB design. Circuit boards designed for your device, led by our founder.
- Connected devices. ESP32-based devices that send their data to your systems.
- Enclosures. Cases and parts 3D-printed in-house, so a design change can be tested quickly.
- The software around it. Firmware on the device, plus the dashboard your team uses to manage it.
Why one team for all of it
Hardware projects often stall at the handoffs between the board designer, the enclosure maker and the app developer. When one team owns all three, a change to the circuit and a change to the software get planned together.
An ESP32 device can send its readings over Wi-Fi to a dashboard we build, where your team sees status and alerts. How the device gets software updates, and what it does when the connection drops, are planned in the scope before the first board is made.
How a device build runs
- Scope and quote. What the device does, where it will be used and what it connects to, with a fixed quote.
- Prototype with regular demos. You see the device and its software working at each stage.
- Test the prototype. The device is used the way it will actually be used, and what we learn goes back into the board, the enclosure or the firmware.
- Build a small batch. Once the design holds up in testing, we build a small batch of the working device.
- Hand over. You get the firmware, the code and the repository.
Where devices fit in the work we do by industry: warehousing and 3PL and trucking.
Questions we get
Can you use the scanners and tablets we already have?
Usually, yes, and that is where we start. Custom hardware comes in only where no device you own can do the job. Which devices the software runs on is settled in the scope.
Can a kiosk include a voice agent?
We can scope that: a kiosk that talks to visitors and hands over to staff, on the same voice stack as our voice agents.
Can you manufacture devices in volume?
We build the prototype and a small batch ourselves. For a volume run we work with a manufacturing partner, using the same design files, and we stay on the project while it is made.
Do we own the design files?
Yes. The PCB design files and the enclosure files are yours, the same as the firmware and the repository. You can take them to another manufacturer or another engineer without asking us.
What should your device do?
Tell us what the device should do and where it will be used. Someone from our team replies within one business day.
